Applies to several sectors Joint Executive Decree No. 664/21 of December 28, 2021 Effective from December 28, 2021. The Joint Executive Order:
  • defines the system for calculating the costs of mandatory post-disembarkation SARS-CoV-2 tests, applicable to passengers arriving from outside the country upon arrival at airport facilities in Angola; and

  • provides that the cost of mandatory SARS-CoV-2 testing is AOA11 278.18

Health care Executive Decree No. 1/22 of January 05, 2022 Effective from January 5, 2022. The executive decree sets the certification conditions for pharmacies and clinical analysis laboratories for carrying out SARS-COV-2 antigenic tests.
Applies to several sectors Presidential Decree No. 11/22 (Update of measures to prevent and control the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and COVID-19) of January 14, 2022 Valid from January 16, 2022 to February 13, 2022. The presidential decree:
  • repeals Presidential Decree No. 315/21 of December 24 and Presidential Decree No. 316/21 of December 31, which updated the previous measures; and

  • updates the measures for preventing and controlling the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 virus and the rules for the operation of public and private services and social and other activities during the public calamity situation

Applies to several sectors Resolution No. 108/2021 (Compulsory presentation of the negative result of the RT-PCR test for COVID-19) of December 1, 2021 Effective from December 3, 2021. The resolution:
  • establishes the requirement to present a negative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) result performed within 72 hours of the date and time of boarding or a COVID-19 rapid antigen test performed within 48 hours following the date and time of boarding; and

  • applies to all passengers and crew traveling by air or sea on international journeys to Cape Verde, regardless of presentation of a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate

Applies to several sectors Resolution No. 3/2022 (Specific measures to prevent and contain the COVID-19 pandemic during the Carnival and Ash Wednesday holiday season) of January 10, 2022 Effective from January 11, 2022. The resolution approves the specific measures to prevent and contain the COVID-19 pandemic, applicable to Carnival and Ash Wednesday, as well as to the celebrations of the Municipal Day.
Applies to several sectors Resolution No. 8/2022 (Prolongation of the emergency situation throughout the country) of January 20, 2022 Valid from January 21, 2022 to February 18, 2022. The resolution extends the emergency situation to the whole country, based on the evolution of the epidemiological situation and the provisions of resolution No. 116/2021 of December 28.
